I’m not an island

I’ve cultivated a network of other creative professionals in related fields such as design, photography and web development with whom I collaborate to get your project completed successfully. But, bottom line, I always write the copy myself, to guarantee the quality.

I wear many hats

In addition to my work as a freelance copywriter, speechwriter and manuscript assessor, I’m also a fiction author and poet outside work. So I have a robust appreciation of the high standard of writing and revising required to meet the requirements of an international market. Three of my novels have been published internationally (The Visitation, Four Ways to be a Woman, L’Amore Secondo Miranda), and a collection of short stories (Modettes) was published by Penguin Books in New Zealand. The Visitation was shortlisted in the fiction category of the Montana New Zealand Book Awards. A collection of short stories, Modettes, was published by Penguin Books New Zealand. I’m a previous winner of the BNZ Katherine Mansfield Short Story Award, and was a runner-up in the Sunday Star Times Short Story Competition. I’m also a former Buddle Findlay Sargeson Fellow. My non-fiction book Small Steps to Happiness was a finalist in the unpublished category of the 2015 Ashton Wylie Book Awards. My short stories have been anthologised and also broadcast on Radio New Zealand. I’ve also had the privilege of being a panelist at three international literary festivals.
